VANDERBIJLPARK. – The annual Christmas tree for under privilege children from Frikkie Meyer Primary school, the centre and community was held on 3 December at the Centurion Motorcycle Club in Vanderbijlpark. 150 children was taken out of their usual every day circumstances and treated by the personnel, congregation members, Pearly Ladies Support group and volunteers.
They enjoyed the day with water sliding, jumping castles and various other games. They were treated with an abundance of sweets, cupcake’s, ice lollies, water Lemmon`s and cool drinks.
The hungry pains were satisfied with hotdogs. In closing they were treated with a Christmas show that was done by Children from the congregation and every child received a special wrapped gift.
The Dantè Chan centre would like to to thank all the businesses, and individuals that contributed to make this day a day that would be remembered by these children for a long time to come. Alwyn Wilke an his wife Trudie also thanked all the personnel, members from the congregation, and all the volunteers that assisted in this day. They also thanked Wilma from the Centurion Motorcycle club, their committee and cleaners for the use of their facilities.
